Reading Notes #2

1. Again, the sender, receiver, channel, and message are all very important. Without these communication would not exist. And I’ve been taught these four elements of communication all throughout my study in PR.

2. I always love to learn more about cognitive dissonance. I find it interesting to know that some people will just flat out not accept something simply becuase it goes against what they have been taught all their lives. It shows how powerful a message can be if you are able to break those boundaries.

3.  I like the diffusion and adoption stages. I think it’s important to understand what a consumer is going through during his or her time of purchase.
